The Hidden Danger of the Data Center boom.

EMF Solutions is sounding the alarm.

Noise, water, and pollution are all making headlines.  But there’s another side of the data center boom not being discussed and it could be by far the worst:  electricity, fiber optics, and EMFs.

First let’s discuss the electricity pollution.  As of 9.2026 there are over 700 data centers under construction.  And there are over 1,700 planned.  Many of these range between 100 MW (Megawatt) and 1 GW (Gigawatt) in power size.  Some planned go to 5, 10 and even 16 GW.

If all of these are built it is estimated to require between 150 to 200 GW (Gigawatts) of power to be added to the US power grid.  That is equal to 150 to 200 Nuclear Reactors which could power over 150 Million Homes to put that number in perspective.  The US only has 149 Million homes including condos.  So where is that power going to come from?  Will that affect YOUR electric bill?  They say no but skeptics have good reason for concern.

But beyond the electric bills, what could all of this power mean for EMF pollution and to nearby residents?  High Voltage Power lines have long been studied as having effects on nearby residents.  But what happens when you take a nuclear reactor worth of power and place it in a one block area when that much power is normally spread out over thousands of square miles in the electric grid of a suburb or city environment?  Nobody is asking this question (except EMF Solutions of course)???

Here’s the bad news.  The new fiber optic EMFs are likely much worse than the EMF issue coming from data centers.  That is a big statement and there is a ton of science to back it up.   This subject of how fiber is affecting us is so important that EMF Solutions dedicated one tab on its website menu just to explaining this.  For those who say “Fiber doesn’t have EMFs” or “the EMFs stay inside of the fiber cables so they can’t affect us”, they should really go to our tab at EFFECTS OF FIBER.  It explains that the effects of EMFs are from the absorbed radiation and in fiber optic cables it comes from the “loss of energy”.  In other words, as the 190 to 240 TRILLION HERTZ (THz) frequency radiation travels through the fiber optic cables, some or most of it (depending on the distance) doesn’t make it to the destination.  They call that loss of signal or loss of energy.  But what happened to that energy?  The answer is that it becomes heat and subatomic chaos.  And we feel and show how it is the worst subatomic chaos in modern society today due to factors explained at the EFFECTS OF FIBER tab.  The heat and chaos are NOT confined to staying inside of the fiber like the traveling EMFs do.  And that is how we are being affected by fiber’s EMFs.  And the bummer fact is that you don’t have to have fiber service to be affected.  It just needs to be in your neighborhood!  So if there’s evidence for that just imagine how bad it might be to be or to live near a data center which uses many thousands of times more EMFs than the worst fiber neighborhood streets?
